New Zealand Men Start the World Cup Strong

New Zealand opened their 2014 Men’s Lacrosse Championship campaign with a convincing 19-2 win against Argentina.

Argentina were unable to keep up with the speed of play of the New Zealand Team. There were 8 different scorers for NZ whose dominant face off play and defensive play created a solid platform of possession. All 4 Clayton brothers scored (Andrew 5, John 4, Mike 3, Richard 2), as did Nick Low (2), Jeremy Kincaid, Aaron Graham, Roddy John and James Devine.

Against Russia the team pulled another convincing win 19-5 and against 11th world-ranked Wales won 13-5.

The team play the Netherlands next on Monday 14th July, 2:30pm Mountain Standard Time.
