New Zealand Lacrosse is incredibly proud of the Senior Women’s National Team following their outstanding bronze medal finish at the 2026 Women’s World Championship Div II in Poland.
The squad brought together talented athletes from across Aotearoa and overseas, demonstrating the skill, determination and commitment required to compete on the world stage. Throughout the tournament, the team showcased the growth and strength of women’s lacrosse in New Zealand, competing against some of the world’s best and achieving a well-deserved podium finish.
This bronze medal is a fantastic achievement for the players, coaches, managers and support staff who have dedicated countless hours to the campaign. It is also an exciting milestone for the wider New Zealand lacrosse community and provides a strong platform to continue building the future of women’s lacrosse in Aotearoa.
