NZL Annual General Meeting Update

On 4 July, NZL held its first AGM where our founding Board was elected. We are delighted to announce our first elected Board Members: Shawn Barabash, Toby Delamore, Nicole Goode, Eric Terpening and Tara Vrensen. Congratulations and thank you so much for putting your hands up to lead us onto the next step towards growing lacrosse in NZ.

The elected Board Members join our two independently appointed Board Members, Kim Grafton and Rachel Batty who bring with them a unique set of sport governance experiences. We are very excited to welcome them to the NZL whānau.

We also welcomed Waikato Lacrosse and Wellington Lacrosse as our first full members and Auckland Lacrosse, Canterbury Lacrosse and Lacrosse Manawatu as interim members.

The first AGM was another step towards completion of the merger. The next steps will be to officially register our Constitution, ensure our interim members complete the requirements for full membership and to dissolve the NZWLA and NZALU.

Many thanks to all along the way who have made this possible including in particular those who paved the way including Bill Hollins and Hannah Doney.

We look forward to what the future holds for our fantastic young sport.
