Tori Lelo at McKendree University

New Zealand Women’s lacrosse is proud of all of its players’ achievements. More recently, Tori Lelo has just completed her first year at an American College where she has been playing some excellent lacrosse. 

Tori first represented New Zealand at the U19 Women’s World Cup in 2011, being named MVP against the Netherlands. In July 2012, Tori took part in the Super Series Lacrosse against Great Britain representing the “World Team”.

In 2013, Tori played for NZBLAX representing New Zealand in the Senior Women’s World Cup in Oshawa Canada and was named MVP against Finland. In January 2014, Tori began studying at McKendree University and played in her first season with the Bearcats. She is competing in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and will play a variety of teams spanning from Ohio to Florida. With a fresh, new team and new goals, Tori has aspirations to achieve one of the top placing’s in the conference.

As she looks forward to her New Zealand elite level goals, Tori is focused on being a part of the New Zealand Women’s 2017 World Cup team that makes the top eight in the world.
